What is Apprenticeship?

  • Apprenticeship is post-secondary education, like a college or a university, The one big difference is, apprentices not only learn skills in the classroom, most of their education is on- the-job
  • From day one, apprentices are paid both on-the-job and while attending class. As an apprentice progresses in the program they receive pay raises. In addition there is limited or little student debt
  • Upon completion, apprentices receive nationally recognized completion certificates. In addition, apprentices can earn up to 39 credits towards an associate degree.
