About Jakes Electric

Paul has been with Jakes Electric since 2008. He completed the electrical apprenticeship program from Associated Builders and Contractors in 2013.

Paul has earned his Master Electricians Licenses in: Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, New Mexico, North Dakota, Missouri, Texas, and Wisconsin.

He has also received his Contractors Licenses in: Kansas, Kentucky, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, and Virginia

Doug has been a part of Jakes Electric team since 2010 and is the Automation Manager for Jakes Electric.

He attended Marquette University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Kevin has been a part of Jakes Electric since 2008.

He holds a Wisconsin Journeyman’s license.

Brad has been with of Jakes Electric since 2013.

He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with an emphasis on Communications and Marketing.

Brad has worked for his Journeyman Licenses in Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

He also has his Medium Voltage Termination Certificate.

Brian has over 30 plus years of experience in agriculture, 10 plus years in grain elevator operations and maintenance, and 24 plus years as an electrician and electrical contractor.

Over the years BJ has earned his Contractor License in Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin, and several cities in Illinois.

Marci joined the Jakes Electric team in 2009 as an office assistant. She is now the Accounting and Office Manager. Marci is responsible for overseeing and directing the finances and all office function to make ensure the company runs smoothly. She has 25+ years of office experience.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Chuck is our Lead Estimator as well as our Electrical Systems Designer, he has been a part of Jakes Electric since 2014.

He has been in the trade for 40+ years giving him lots of training and experiences: Senior Electrical Designer, Senior Electrical Estimator, CAD Training, Labor relations, and many more.

Chuck holds a Wisconsin Master Electrical License, Designer of Engineering Systems (Electrical) Certification, and Commercial Electrical Inspector Certification.

Jerry is our Controls Engineer. Jerry, who has been in his field for 35+ years, has been a part of Jakes Electric since 2009.

He has an Associate’s Degree from Wisconsin School of Electronics.

Jerry also earned certifications in Arch Flash and NFPA 70E training.

Josh Schwingler has been a part of the Jakes Electric team since 2016. Josh works in Automation out of our Mitchell, South Dakota office.

He graduated from Mitchell Technical College with a degree in SCADA.

Drake joined Jakes Electric in 2015.

He has 1.5 years of field work, 3.5 years of CAD and Panel Design/Build, 4 years of Automation and OT Design.

Adam has been a part of Jakes Electric for 10 plus years, he holds multiple certifications.

He is a Master Electrician in Wisconsin, and holds Journeyman licenses in Wisconsin, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and Kentucky.

Josh Danielson is our Project Manager for our Southern Wisconsin locations. He has been a part of the Jakes Electric Crew since 2008.

Josh graduated from the ABC of Wisconsin apprenticeship program 2014.

Josh also holds a Wisconsin Journeyman Electrical License.

LJ Parker is a Project Manager for our Nebraska locations. LJ joined the Jakes Electric crew in 2014, but he has 25+ years in his field.

LJ holds multiple Electrical Licenses including Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Colorado and New Mexico, as well as specific cities such as: Omaha, Fremont, and Clay Center Kansas.

Eric Ruosch is the Project Manager of our Hazard Monitoring Division. Eric has been in the field since 2009 but joined the Jakes Electric crew in 2011.

Eric went to the University of Wisconsin – Platteville to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management.

Merrill Paynter is one of our Project Managers. He joined the Jakes Electric family in 2009.

He has his Journeyman’s License in Wisconsin and Kentucky.

Merrill also received an Electrical Construction Certification from Blackhawk Technical College.

Jacob Laursen has been a part of Jakes Electric since 2013

He studied to be an electrician at Blackhawk Technical College and also was a part of the ABC of Wisconsin Electrical Apprenticeship program.

Jacob also has his Wisconsin and Iowa Journeyman’s License.

Anthony Hart joined us in 2016 and is now a Project Manager.

Anthony was a member of the ABC Apprenticeship.

Mike came to Jakes Electric in 2012 and started working in procurement in 2014.

Amy is the Administrative Assistant at Jakes Electric. She also works with our Accounts Receivable. Amy started in her field in 2010 and joined Jakes Electric 2011.

Amy got her schooling at Iowa State University.
