Job Description
Title: Electrical Maintenance Manager
Reports to: General Manager
Job summary
The Electrical Maintenance Manager’s responsibilities include planning and implementing preventive maintenance programs, responding to breakdowns, repairing equipment and machinery, and ensuring compliance with national and local electrical codes.
Our ideal candidates have extensive experience with electrical systems, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and have a solid understanding of maintenance procedures and practices.

• Manage, guide and train electrical maintenance technicians and electricians
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems
• Perform electrical testing and inspections
• Respond to breakdowns and system failures, and manage repairs
• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for procurement of electrical materials and services
• Monitor electrical energy consumption and implement strategies for energy conservation
• Ensure safe work practices and adherence to safety regulations
• Manage budgets for electrical maintenance and projects
• Build drawings sets for facility layouts
• Prepare and present reports on electrical maintenance and activities
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be dependable, reliable, and trustworthy. Be able to interact with people in a professional manner. Must be detail oriented and able to work independently with little direction or specific direction. Possess strong organizational skills. Highly motivated and able to prioritize and multitask efficiently. Ability to maintain a strict level of confidence.
Must be able to perform physical activities, such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, or walking.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proven work experience as an Electrical Maintenance Manager or similar role
• Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance procedures
• Understanding of national and local electrical codes
• Understanding of OSHA, NFPA 70E, and NFPA 70B standards
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams
• Certification as a licensed electrician may be required
Education & Experience
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
PREFERRED:
Experience with electrical construction.
5 years experience in the construction industry.
Travel:
Travel will be required based on customer needs and schedule.
